Karl Lagerfeld Kids SS’16 Campaign

karl-lagerfeld-kids-campaign-spring-summer-16A multichannel fashion designer campaign, introducing Karl Lagerfeld first ever kids collection.




The brief


Campaign created in contribution with Karl Lagerfeld‘s studio. Having been a leading designer for this campaign I have worked closely with the Creative Director from the very start of the project to delivery and liaising with front-end developers.


The campaign was supposed to include: cutting-edge and user friendly responsive landing page, promotional emails, display ads banners and exclusive Childrensalon box. It was important Karl Lagerfeld’s branding stands out, though brief stated we could not use Karl Lagerfeld’s face, silhouette, or have children dressed up and pretending to be Karl anyhow.
We could also not use Karl’s kittens drawings which were so present in his entire collection. It was important to introduce Karl new brand to our customers, for them to get the feel of the collection which was very strong as for children’s wear – with a lot of black and dark clothes.

Concepts – graffiti street & white, crisp fashion atelier.

1 Telling a story

Parallax scroll fashion atelier scene, showcasing the collection’s look and feel on a very clean and crisp background made to build a desire. Powerful call to action at the bottom.

2 Directing attention

Categories boxes leading users to product listing page of their choice: either girl, boy or baby. Showing exclusive Childrensalon box  – another reason to buy from us.

3 Showing posibilities

Outfits specially prepared by our Fashion Stylist – showing many possibilities of curating looks. Another powerful call to action, leading to the whole outfit page.

4 Building engagement

Facebook competition to build engagement and spread the word about the campaign, generating more traffic to our page.



Final landing page design


Fully responsive, captivating landing page design that proved to be engaging and viewed to the very bottom, with a high conversion rate.



Promotional emails

I’ve created 3 promotional emails for this campaign – a teaser, launch and a Facebook competition email campaign.


Exclusive Karl Box

As a part of the campaign I have created exclusive Childrensalon box with Karl’s drawing and logo printed on it. It is included to all Karl Lagerfeld’s orders.
